The apartment is near to the Universytet metro station and the Volodymyr Cathedral. The entrance to the apartment is not on the street side. To reach the apartment you need to get into the inner court of the building. Access is not restricted. Once in the inner court you can access the building front door with a digital code. There is no lift to the apartment on the second and before last floor. The apartment itself is rather large and could use some refreshing. Upon entering, on your left you have a storage area (2 m2). Once you advance rightwards upon entering you have a rather small bathroom (5 m2) with Jacuzzi and single sink. Adjacent to the bathroom you have a separate toilet (2 m2). The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker, single sink and washing machine (9 m2). Most the apartment windows give on the inner court. On your right upon entering, the living room is good sized (17 m2). Adjacent to the living room there is the bedroom (15 m2) which has a terrace (4 m2) with a view on the inner court. The noise levels are decent since the apartment is not facing the street. The heating is central to the building. The apartment is facing North.
Building Communal Areas: these areas are of GOOD standing unlike most buildings in Kiev.
The communal areas are the property and responsibility of the city and are generally not well cared for.

The apartment is located in the area near to the Opera. Just behind the Golden Gate and outside the former Old Kiev fortifications, streets that were marked afterwards with tremendous expressions of the city’s versatile cultural life were laid out in the middle of the 19th century. Here the city Theatre was build for performance of operas. In the other theatre hall nearby dramatic troupes appeared. A whole system of education institutions was opened here. The complex of quarters for the Ukrainian Science Academy was built here. Many newspapers and magazines had their offices here. Many well-known writers lived here. The fusion of intellect and the sharp word was realized in the Ukrainian Central Council, which propagated the ideas of national renascence throughout Ukraine from this part of town. A lot of old buildings have survived in the pleasant green streets around the Opera. They not only recall the heights of science, literature and art, they are also recognized as great monuments of architecture.
